ABOUT US

An unconventional approach to skills development...The contributions of women who inspire us to be better human beings. Aspire Artemis Foundation (AAF) is an organization committed to promoting cultural exchange, language learning and holistic educational training opportunities to youth in vulnerable and marginalized communities across the globe. The aim of these efforts is to educate, empower and support youth in order to better prepare them for their future careers.  We harness the power of creativity in young adults and highlight the achievements of trailblazers and change makers as a catalyst towards inspiring future leaders.

The organization builds leadership capacity and teaches young people the skills they need to foster positive use of language that helps them utilize their voices in constructive and empowering ways while providing hands on opportunities to career advancement.  We do this by providing solution oriented growth opportunities that increases self-confidence, makes a social impact, and enriches communities.  One of our aims is that of discovering leaders and empowering them to face future challenges. We work with international organizations, the private sector, relevant government partners, civil society, and other world bodies to actualize this objective.

The Aspire Artemis Foundation is an organization that is thoroughly committed to improving the lives of girls and women from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds through innovative early interventions, education, information sharing, research, and training, by working to create an inclusive environment for women and youth.  The activities of the Foundation strive to bridge the gaps between theory, policy, and practice.

Our programs spur youth entrepreneurship and provide skills and job training for the jobs of the future.

At the Aspire Artemis Foundation we utilize a three-pronged approach we call EMI (or “Emmie”). We believe that supplementary education, structured in-person mentorship, and internship experiences bridge the gap and support young women as they shape their own paths for their future. Role models also play an essential role in encouraging and retaining women in all fields including STEM fields. We highlight stories of success and failures in STEM. ( https://www.aspireartemis.org/stem-journeys ) We also tell the stories about what happens when both men and women are inspired by women. https://www.aspireartemis.org/inspiring-women

We also promote the incorporation of arts and culture in STEM education and programming. (https://www.aspireartemis.org/campaign-4 )

VISION

Rechanneling the energy of youth into positive ventures that have a social impact. Aspire Artemis seeks to inspire today’s youth by highlighting the achievements of brave and brilliant women who, despite adversity, have aspired to surpass expectations to make a change in people's lives and to leave a footprint which echoes globally. These women will serve as mentors to youth in marginalized and vulnerable communities through a leadership development programme. The aim of this programme is to empower youth, provide skills training and expand their potential, giving them encouragement and hope. This programme is focused on building confidence in young people to prepare them to succeed in their future careers. The programme will achieve these goals through the following paths: debate training, leadership skills development, foreign language skills, capacity development, volunteerism, mentorship opportunities, communication training and development, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM) training, and internship opportunities.
